For those of you out there who have one disaster after another when melting chocolate here's a hint. Place the chocolate chips or chnuks in a heat resistant container and place it on an old fashioned electric trivet. it may take a little longer but no more hockey pucks. The melted chocolate will stay at a perfect consistancy while you work. No more worries about leaving it in the microwave too long or steam from the double boiler. CJ

I knew I shouldn't have put that electric trivet in the garage sale. I would actually have a great use for it now.

Thanks, cj, and welcome to Let's Talk!
